IRCTC makes it easy to book tickets on the go via phone

New Delhi: IRCTC has facilitated the travelers by providing them a smarter way to book tickets through the mobile phones which means get your rail tickets anywhere, anytime.

IRCTC informs that the website is easy to use and few clicks will book you ticket. The website can be viewed from any browser , all you need to have is GPRS activated mobile phone.

Features available on the website are as follows:
Book Ticket/ Enquiry - Book tickets by providing source and destination.
Booked History - Tickets whose Date of Journey is due will be visible.
Cancel Ticket - Cancel any of the tickets whose date of journey is due.

Browse the URL using your mobile and book tickets using any of your credit/debit card for payment.

Procedure for booking ticket
- Login to URL with your existing IRCTC user id and password.
- Fill in details for plan my travel.
- Select the train and continue the booking.
- Use existing passenger list on add passengers.
- Confirm booking details and pay through Credit/debit card to get successful booking.
