UK weather report: April wettest in past 100 years | More rain likely : London: The United Kingdom (UK) has never been under showers up to such an extent in the month of April in past 100 years. The month according to the Met office is the wettest. An average of 121.8 mm rain showed the provisional figures up to April 29 which is considered as the almost double from the average for April of 69.6mm. Met department reports:
